So you could probably install version 2.6.3 of the Mini V which will be fine for your OS, this will have the AAX versions of the plugs and should be enough of a test in order for you to see if it works.

Each component that makes up the V 3 collection will be similar to V 4 and even V 5 when it comes out, the updates are only to ensure it works with the new Arturia Software centre in most cases. I don't have the AAX updater unfortunately. must get back on to them as this could have been a show stopper. whats strange is it all worked without change for the past 2 years. I'll double check these things and see what happens. I'll try to dig one out, I might have a DMG somewhere. I can't find the AAX updater on their site, it used to be on their soft synth page (with the mini V etc) This is because they are later products and came AAX ready. "One thing though which is strange is the SEM and Wurlitzer are still activated and working ok, both of which are part of the V collection" Purchasing a decent powered hub (D link 7 port powered) solved the issue of the dongle dropping off. My V3 suite would just not load sometimes and I found it to be the dongle wasn't getting enough power.

dpm RTAS version and I believe that there is an AAX patch for V3 owners which upgrades the suite to AAX as previously it was just RTAS compliant.Īnother issue that I have had is that the dongle is quite power hungry and if you have a lot of devices plugged into a hub or the USB ports, it might just be eating a lot of juice and dropping the power for the dongle. Can you see a list of Arturia plug ins within /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/Arturia/ I think this might be related to an RTAS vs AAX issue. plus they sent me a new auth code which appeared to work ok in the elicenser, guess they don't have any ideas either. One thing though which is strange is the SEM and Wurlitzer are still activated and working ok, both of which are part of the V collection.Īrturia haven't replied since 2 days now, since i tried what they suggested. Its on the dongle, i have 2 dongles and moved onto one that i know works as it has the Korg legacy on it.Ĭan't find any installers for V3 so can't try that, although i shouldn't need to i have downloaded it again and re-installed and run maintenance same version I've had for the last 2 years. i have the last elicense compatible with Lion.

Talking of which, what happens when you try to run one of the arturia synths at the moment as a standalone app? As opposed to as a plugin in Pro Tools? Does the standalone app find the dongle license ok, or does that fail to run as well? Maybe get an external drive, install OS Lion from scratch, then the correct elicenser, make sure it sees the dongle, then install the Arturia collection and run them standalone to see if they run. Other than to try it on a different usb port, a different computer, etc. If not, and if both Arturia and elicenser are stumped, then I'm pretty stmped too. Then try refreshing using that version, hopefully it might correct something that has gone wrong.
#ARTURIA SOFT ELICENSER DOWNLOAD ARCHIVE#
If you haven't done it already (sorry if you have), try downloading an older elicenser from the archive on the website, picking one that is compatible with Lion. but in any case I'm on Mountain Lion, so it wouldn't be an equivalent test. So I don't need to access the old licenses any more, and can't test whether they still work.

My V3 licenses are still in my dongle, but after getting V4, the new licenses are installed on the computer, not the dongle. if you've run maintenance using the latest eLicenser, does it do anything to the dongle that stops it working properly with an older version of the eLicenser? I don't know, you'd have to ask elicenser. The latest elicenser version isn't shown as compatible with Lion, have you installed an older version that is compatible? Or did you install the latest version? You say you've been reinstalling stuff, including eLicenser. But is that license on the dongle or the soft elicenser? I'm assuming it's on the dongle.
